The Irish Tourism Group

Killarney Road, Newcastle West, Ireland

“Sonia and I just got back from our 8 night self-driving tour of Ireland. It was everything that we imagined and then some. Was the most organized, trouble-free vacation that we've ever been on and we have Tina O"Connor to thank for that. Tina put up with my myriad of questions without complaint and pulled off the perfect vacation. From the time that we landed in Dublin until the day we left Dublin, everything came off without any issues. We changed our itinerary to include a night at Dromoland Castle and oh my, was it worth it. Please pamper yourself here if you get the chance. Tina will set that up for you. We will be back. Couple of highlights that we want to revisit that rain prevented us from seeing and Sonia wants to return to Inch Beach near Dingle. Remember drivers, go left and look right in the rotaries (roundabouts). The country was amazing, the people were amazing and the food was amazing. Thank you Tina and thank you Ireland. We will be back.”

Falconry Kerry (in Killarney)

● Open
, Killarney V93 N9Y4, Ireland

“I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed and would recommend our experience with Liam of Falconry Kerry. Liam is so personable and even sent me alternate directions because of road construction. It was such a personalized experience and all four of us were able to hold/feed each of the birds (falcon, hawk, and three different types of owl) multiple times. Liam is also a wealth of knowledge about the birds and the history of Falconry. If you are anywhere near Killarney you NEED to go to Falconry Kerry!!”

“Superb and entertaining family trip in Valentia Harbour with Elizabeth and Brendan. Elizabeth is a first rate guide. Relaxed, informative, safe and overall good fun with the highlight (conditions permitted!) a trip into a cave. Recommended for all but especially for those who want to experience the sea without the squall. Will be back Mags, Tom and family”

“We had a great day out with Enda on Caragh Lake. The equipment was nice and new, we learned a lot about the lake and the surrounding area, had good craic with Enda, and also got some great tips on other things to do in the area!”

Dingle Slea Head Tours

● Open
, Cooleen, Dingle, Ireland

“Rory was absolutely amazing. We experienced a cloudy, foggy day and he drove us all over and took us to some out the way places. When our tour was supposed to be over, the fog lifted. He was so kind and took us back out so we could see Dingle without the fog. He went above and beyond.”

Bantry Bay Charters - Glengarriff

● Closed
Glengarriff Road, Bantry, Ireland

“We went on a sunset tour with Captain Darren yesterday! (27/06) It was absolutely amazing. Really knowledgeable guide and the views were stunning. We also learned about a two timing eagle and the French armada. And to tip it off, a spot of fishing. All in all I would highly recommend the Bantry bay charter company and the sunset tour in particular and the prices are amazing too! Ps, photos really do not do the views justice”

Kenmare Bay Diving

● Closed
, Kenmare, Ireland

“We went diving in April 2023, and Paul was the only one who did answer our request. Furthermore, you can’t join a better person in Ireland to dive with: Paul is a super skilled, really patient instructor, who keeps an eye on the needs we had. He did show us an awesome underwater world, picked us up and let us down where it was pragmatic for us. After diving in Montenegro and Italy, snorkeling in Iceland: This was for sure the most technical person we met regarding all questions you can have about diving.”

“It was 100% worth the experience. Such a lovely family and communication was clear and quick. The horses were so gentle and well trained, making it easy to ride for any level or experience. If or when we make it back to Kenmare, we would definitely consider doing it again! Thanks for a great experience.”

Butlers Shore Tours from Cobh/Cork

● Closed
, Cobh P24 P380, Ireland

“We took the Blarney 1/2 day tour in Cobh back in May 2017. I booked it online before our cruise. The price was great especially when compared to the ship's tour which was the same tour! The company gave good instructions to find them. I'm always nervous about finding the guide when booking non-ship excursions but they were right where they said they would be and guided us to the buses which were a short distance away as the buses aren't allowed on the main street (about 2 short blocks). They say "Butler" on them as we were told. My brother & his wife had booked the full day excursion Blarney Kinsale which was even better priced compared to the same tour offered by the ship. They thoroughly enjoyed their trip also. We wish we could get this company's excursions in every port!”

Wild SUP Tours

● Closed
, Farranakilla, County Kerry, Ireland

“Had an absolute blast with these guys on a 3 hours SUP tour of the Dingle Peninsula. Went out in a group of 4, we were total beginners and the others were more experienced but Cal was a great teacher and we were up and paddling in no time. Visited a few caves, learned a few tricks, and generally had a laugh. Great way to see Dingle, highly recommend this!”

BEYOND THE GLASS ADVENTURE TOURS

● Closed
34 Saint Patrick's Quay, Cork T23 T624, Ireland

“We did the 8 day cycling and hiking Wild Atlantic Way adventure with James and loved it. The three days of cycling were breathtaking with beautiful scenery all around and interesting stops in between. The hikes were spectacular along coast lines. We also had a couple of guides on hikes that were very knowledgeable about the area. James knows all the sights to see and has interesting facts and stories along with history of each one. We would arrive early to various sites and we beat the crowds so we could get great pictures. We were the first ones to arrive at the Blarney Stone along with other places which was a real time-saver. The hotels and restaurants James selected were all excellent. We heartily recommend using Beyond the Glass tours for your Ireland adventure.”

Concierge Golf Ireland

● Closed
, Glanmire T45 RC43, Ireland

“I can not say enough about the service we received from John at Concierge Golf. We started planning our trip in 2020 just a month before the pandemic. Our trip was organized and cancelled two times over the last 2 years. John was there with us the whole time making all the necessary arrangements. So after waiting almost 3 years to go to St. Andrew's we finally got there in August 2022. The trip was even better than our original plan back in 2020. John procured us better accommodations, ideal tee-times, ground transportation and did all the balloting for us to get on the Old Course. He answered his phone every time we called with a question, but since he did such an amazing job we hardly had to call him. If you are even thinking of taking a trip to Scotland or Ireland for golf, please please call Concierge Golf of Ireland. 4 Happy Golfers from the U.S.”

Skellig Tours

● Closed
, Caherdaniel, Ireland

“We had a really nice trip, that might not be representative: we were the last eleven tourists on the island and had wonderful weather. So we could take pictures without people interfering it. For us, the trip was worth the 100,-€ per person, even though the trip to Skellig Michael was very choppy (the tour back was relaxing, though). The puffins very really really fantastic to watch. The guide that told us about the island was very instructive. We had three nice dogs on our boat, which made it special. The crew even took a small tour to the neighbouring island and we saw seals and Gannets . All in all a wonderful experience with a last minute booking!”

“Going with Skelligs Rock Cruises to the Skellig Michael (passing by Little Skellig for a closer look) was such an amazing trip, truly a once in a lifetime experience. The staff could not have been more knowledgeable and genuine. Throughout the whole day, they made sure we felt safe and comfortable in such a great way. I could not be more grateful! Highly recommended!”

Skellig Falcon

● Closed
, The Glen, Emlaghmore V23 FX77, Ireland

“We had a recent trip out to Skelligs on the Skellig Falcon and it was such a memorable trip. I have been out a number of times over the years with Willie but it was my first time on his new boat and my kids first experience and we absolutely loved it. He is such an expert when it comes to the wildlife and heritage of the sites and makes it so interesting. We were lucky enough to see an abundance of puffins and even though we couldn’t land on the island this season it certainly didn’t take away from the incredible experience. The boat itself is so clean and modern and has great space to enable social distancing and with the choice of being able to sit inside or out makes it great even if the weather is less favourable. It even has a toilet onboard which is very handy for little ones. I highly recommend taking a trip with Willie as you won’t find anyone more knowledgeable and experienced and the kids were delighted with a lollipop to top of their trip. Thank you so much”

Sheenco Travel

, Goleen, Ireland

“My husband and I have never had an alone vacation, and haven't had a real vacation for 12 years at that. Being at the age 60ish, we knew we did not want to drive, so having Sheenco Travel plan our vacation was the best thing we've ever done. We traveled to Scotland and Ireland for the Castle tours, and it was the most amazing vacation we have ever had. This being the first time I have ever left the USA, it was scary for me. On arrival to Scotland, and meeting our driver David, I knew we were in good hands. He was so professional and Courteous. He waited with us over 3 hours for our luggage that got left behind and came in on a later flight. Just sitting and talking with him made us both feel very comfortable. And listening to his lovely accent put the topping on this wonderful start of our journey. We were taken to our first lovely Castle, and was in awe in the very beginning. The service, accommodations, food, and atmosphere were absolutely amazing. After traveling to 4 more, some being 2 nights stay, we fell in love with Scotland, it's people and everything about it. It is the most amazing place I've ever had the privilege of experiencing. It felt like home for us, and we definitely did not want to leave. But then we arrived in Ireland. Knowing that nothing could top our past week, we were wrong. Ireland is not only very beautiful, the people are the most friendly, down to earth people one could meet. We found them to be the most pleasant, and found it hard to leave them as well. The Castles are very beautiful on these tours, you might say a Fantasy world for just a short time - Or at least that's how we felt. Each one topping the last. We got to dress up for a few meals, something we have never done and enjoyed it so much. The last time we dressed up like that, it was at our wedding 38 years ago. There were a few things that wasn't perfect with some activities, but there were other things that made up for it. The Sheenco Girls made it all possible for us to be a trip of a lifetime. I had no worries, they did everything for us. We just had to show up, and we are so happy we did. We will never forget this experience with Scotland and Ireland, truly beautiful countries.”
